R E G I S T R Y

The gift you bring to us is your presence and support on our Wedding Day, and we are enormously grateful for that. Having spoken to a bunch of our friends, however, we were asked to give a few ideas on what we might need to establish and complete our household if someone would like to give a gift.

We love to cook and entertain guests, and wine is a big part of our lives as well. Here are some places we’ve registered. With the exception of The Castro Village Wine Shop, all of these stores are on Union Square in downtown San Francisco and can be found online as well:

Macy’s - (www.macys.com); cookware, dishes, linens
Crate & Barrel – (www.crateandbarrel.com); glassware
Williams – Sonoma – (www.williamssonoma.com); table linens, flatware, glassware
Sur la Table – (www.surlatable.com); cookware
The Castro Village Wine Shop - (19th Street @ Castro, in the Castro just down the hill from us). This little wine shop specializes in California wines of all types and is our favorite place for great wines.

If you go to the online sites of these stores, click on the “gift registry” or “bridal registry” section. In some places Janet is listed as the bride, in some places Jane is (why not?), but both of us are on each registry.

If you would prefer to make a donation to a worthy organization, we are involved in and support the following non-profits:

PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support) – (www.pawssf.org) - This fabulous local organization provides food, supplies, assistance and medical care for the pets of people who are terminally or seriously ill so they can keep their companion animals when they would not be able to otherwise. Janet regularly donates veterinary supplies to this very worthy organization.

NCLR (National Center for Lesbian Rights) – (www.nclrights.org) - NCLR works every day to protect and advance the rights of all Americans, including gay and lesbian people.
